Convinced I'm pregnant...am I going mad?!

Wasn't tracking my ovulation with LH tests or anything, but did have unprotected sex around the time I noticed typical ovulation symptoms.

5 days later I had really really sore and swollen breasts. 6 days later noticed some dark brown spotting in my knickers. 7 days later started experiencing quite intense fatigue and dizziness. Also loss of appetite and dehydration, and also digestive system just not right. 8 days later started getting twinges / pinches around lower abdomen.

9 days later early response clear blue test is showing negative...am I still too early to test really? Or am I just imagining these symptoms/ could they be something else? So hard to tell!!

That's a lot of 'days later' to keep track of. How late is your period?

If you’re only 9 dpo you’re far too early to test really. Even if the test is an early one. I got a good undeniable line at 13dpo on a FRER. I’d give it another few days and test again. I know the logic is if you’ve enough hcg to cause symptoms you’d have enough to have a positive test but I had horrendous sore boobs (couldn’t even hug anyone!) from 7dpo but still not positive until 13dpo.

When was your period due? If you had unprotected sex more than two weeks ago and conceived you’d be getting positive tests.

Too early to test OP. Wait another 5 days or so and try again. (So 14 days after ovulation when mist women would be starting their period if not pregnant).
To be really sure, you test 21 days after unprotected sex. If that’s negative you can be pretty sure you’re not pregnant.

Thanks everyone, for those that have asked I am not late yet on my period as I am still only 9 days since around when I thought I ovulated. I will give it a few more days before testing again.
