Im so confused?!? ive just come off my period and got a BFP today!!!

I'm so confused and excited but also so concerned i have so many questions, me and my partner have been trying to convince now for 6 months, my period came on sunday a week earlier than it was supposed to, it came as a regular period nothing looked weird, it ended on wednesday, the flow and duration was all the same as my usual periods, today i felt so nauseous and weird so i took a pregnancy test just to be sure because i'm obsessed thinking it would be obviously negative but i got a BFP??? i took 4 tests and all positive as well as a clearblue digital, i'm really so confused, i deffo had a period and it was my usual flow, deffo not spotting or anything , had anyone ever experienced this before ? i'm gonna ring the doctors in the morning i'm baffled

@girlshelpxx it's often referred to as implantation bleeding - pretty normal tbh but I understand how if you don't know about it, it is very confusing considering we are strictly taught differently re conception. Best of luck.

I had similar happen and it was ectopic. Hopefully not the case for you but does need checking, so try to get an early scan.

I had something similar and it turned out I was actually 9 weeks pregnant. I had what I thought was a period at 4 weeks but had been an implantation bleed but was at the time and identical to a normal period, slightly longer than usual even. We got a how many weeks test which came up with 3+ weeks so then booked an early scan. Congratulations and good luck. X

hiya, thanks all, i am aware of implantation bleeding but this was deffo no different than my period so i didn't think of IB at all, i’ll contact the doctor and let you all know thanks xx

What are your test lines looking like?

I'm almost convinced that mine must be ectopic. I tested negative, had a period at the usual time, then tested again on a hunch - had some similar symptoms to when I was pregnant with DS. It was a faint positive. That was on Wednesday. The lines are darkening a bit, but I just think it's not right. I was about to start a thread on it myself actually!

I've done an online contact form for my Dr and am going to keep testing.

Fingers crossed for you - if you have nice dark test lines I think there's a good chance it's alright.

I had implantation bleeds with both kids and they were identical to a normal period, just a little bit early (periods normally as regular as clockwork).
