Black mould - safe?

I’m 20 weeks pregnant and currently staying with my friend who due to having an awful landlord, has a huge hole in her downstairs ceiling from the en suite above. There’s black mould on it and the house smells damp.

I’m only staying here for 3 nights but petrified of the effect it could be having on the baby- should I be worried or am I being silly???

Thanks so much!

I think for a short period, 3 days, it’ll be fine. Your body is designed to clear toxins. Try to get out into fresh air as much as possible and keep windows open. Is the bedroom you’re sleeping in ok?

I think bigger impact would be on your friend living there all the time - she really needs to pressure landlord. In the meantime she can look into an air purifier and try ventilate as much as she can.
