Hello! How did you ladies clean your ovens when pregnant? I know oven cleaner is a big NO! if I scrubbed it with some fairy liquid and warm water would that be okay? Or will that taint the food and cause a issue?

Hi OP, take a look at Nancy Birtwhistle on Instagram. She has a method involving steam, bicarbonate of soda and fine wire wool, with a final clean up using water and washing up liquid. I’m about to give it a go myself. Also, she puts the oven racks on the lawn overnight and like magic the grime can be wiped off in the morning. It’s so weird!

Baking soda and vinegar.

see here - just one of the first links in the search, but looks like it has a good step by step plan

You might have to repeat it if it’s too dirty

i spray with vinegar before removing the soda paste, and I rub it once I apply the vinegar. Bc the foam lifts the dirt.

You can also clean your barbecue like this.

Thank you!! I don’t have instagram unfortunately would just warm water and fairy liquid be safe? Would I have to rinse it until all the fairy liquids gone?

Vinegar and bicarb. I use this normally

MolliciousIntent · 09/11/2022 16:30

I used a delightful method called "make your husband do it"

Casketcurios · 09/11/2022 16:37

That method sounds like the best one 😂
