Potential pregnancy after a miscarriage

hii!
so, I started to bleed on 10.10.22, I was around 6/7 weeks pregnant, had a scan the following day where miscarriage was confirmed, went back a week later for another scan and miscarriage was ‘complete’ I’d stopped bleeding etc by then. I’ve taken a pregnancy test this morning, and it’s positive, it’s faint but it’s definitely there, could this still be showing positive from my previous pregnancy/miscarriage or would this be showing a new pregnancy? Thank you!

Did you get a negative after your miscarriage? Normally you would be advised to get a negative before trying again, so dates etc are clear. If you're not sure, then it may be worth a call to the Dr (who may refer you to a midwife) to try to work things out :)

Unless you had a negative test in-between, its hard to be certain, but a new pregnancy is possible. The EPAU should be able to scan you or do a HCG bloodtest to confirm.
I had my 4th miscarriage in August last year, conceived again 2 weeks later & DS arrived safely in June. I had a scan at 6 weeks to confirm it was a new pregnancy, & check location.
Fingers crossed for you.

Unfortunately HCG can still around a long time . Took me 8 weeks to test negative after a loss. If you keep testing using same tests every 2 days you'll be able to see if HCG is approx going up or down

@Mamaoftwooo Hey! Do you mind me asking how everything went for you ? I’m in the same boat now and I feel silly for not being careful and waiting for a negative 🫣 xx
