I lost mine at 6am and contractions started at the same time, went to the hospital and was sent home, went back in about 4 hours later and gave birth at 1am the following day.

walsk · 08/11/2022 20:44

Lost in the morning, went into labour that evening

LivingOnAPrayerYes · 08/11/2022 20:48

1st pregnancy, didn't lose it until everything was kicking off anyway.

2nd pregnancy, lost it around 3pm and got 1st contractions around 10pm that same evening.

mrsed1987 · 08/11/2022 20:48

I think a few days iirc

kkneat · 08/11/2022 21:10

A couple of hours before labour started for all 3, 1st on due date second two just before 38 weeks!

TheTeddyBears · 08/11/2022 21:20

Dc1 about a week. I lost more and more over the week.
I don't remember losing it with dc2

PrincessesRUs · 08/11/2022 22:00

Only lost it with baby 2 - I think it was three days later??

AllOfTheDwarves · 09/11/2022 17:39

Around 35 hours.

ShirleyHolmes · 09/11/2022 17:47

Nope. Lost mine at 39 weeks, induced at 42 weeks….

wibblewobbleball · 09/11/2022 17:51

About 5 days later - but I was induced on day 5!

alak · 09/11/2022 18:02

About 5 days

LoopDiL00p · 09/11/2022 18:05

About 24 hours between losing mucus plug and contractions starting

FrangipaniBlue · 09/11/2022 19:57

I was already in labour but as soon as the plug went it was like someone flicked a switch and it went from "oooh that's a bit uncomfortable" to "GIMME THE DRUGS NOW!!" in an instant lol

Janedoe82 · 09/11/2022 19:59

A few hours

TaraRhu · 09/11/2022 20:04

Started to go slowly about a week before with my first. He was a week late. Didn't go at all with my daughter until labour. She was a week early.
