Silver cross reef

I am thinking about getting this pram , it only came out earlier this year so don't know anyone with one.

I was wondering if anyone has one and if they are happy with it and in particular whether it was ok to use in London (eg getting onto buses/shops etc)

It's a beautiful pram 😍 obviously it's totally your choice but I thought it was a little bit on the heavier side due to the wheels being quite big. I've gone for the silver cross dune which in fairness is a little heavy too but has slightly smaller wheels. Everyone says I'll regret a heavy pram and I may do too but both are just beautiful 😂

We have this pram in the colour "earth" and absolutely love it. I felt similarly to you when buying it - I usually like to read reviews of things before I buy but couldn't in this case. It is heavy, but I found all prams heavy and 1/2 kg difference between most of them doesnt make much difference to me. It looks absolutely fabulous and is really nice to push. The inside of the carrycot is so soft and plush. My baby is very happy sleeping in it.

I originally wanted the dune but the reef is better for me as we don't live in a city and need the bigger wheels.

I have never used the folding carrycot - a feature which I liked. I just put in the car as it is.

I was torn between the reef and Uppababy Vista. I am very glad I went for the reef as we love it. I haven't seen anyone else with one yet. Honestly couldn't recommend more highly !

Ps, I know the dune is more suited to "city living" so may be worth looking into more

We went to John Lewis to look at the Reef and Dune. Preferred the Dune as it was slightly lighter and more compact compared to the Reef, which suited us more for city living (Edinburgh). Also just purchased the Dune here as they're doing 10% off the Dune and Reef. Our friends recommended this site and has a lot of good reviews 🙂

I am also looking at the silver cross reef

Did you purchase this pram? If so, are you happy with this purchase?

Purchased this pram today!! It's beaut & seems to unfold really easily so I didn't find each separate bit two heavy at all :)

In case anyone comes across this we have the dune 8 months in and love it. It’s so sturdy. We took it on holiday too as collapses easily and bassinet approved for overnight sleeping. Also it’s really smart and I know it shouldn’t matter but I feel proud pushing my dd along in it!

DO NOT BUY - riddled with faults (see other strollbaby and John Lewis reviews - common theme) we are on our FOURTH replacement chassis since Jan 23. Am gutted as a gift from my Mum for our first baby. Will now be asking for a full refund.
