Headaches

Hi everyone,

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and have had a headache for 5 days now. Also been feeling sick and light headed. I've tried contacting my midwife with no luck. Is this normal at this stage or should I call someone to get checked thanks

Hi! A headache could just be a headache but it could also be a sign of something more serious like preeclampsia so I think if you’re worried please get it checked out.

At 32w, i would ring the maternity triage number if you can't get hold of your midwife. It should be on your notes or you can google "maternity triage + hospital name". As pp said above, they can check your BP + urine for preeclampsia / pregnancy hypertension.
