12 weeks pregnant now and felt absolutely horrendous with debilitating nausea from week 5+. Around 10 weeks symptoms improved hugely for 4-5 days, felt normal! Then hit hard again at 11 weeks, probably 75% as bad as the weeks 5-10... Now 12 weeks and symptoms are improving slowly day by day... But I'm so scared they're going to come back again.

Is this normal? Could this truly be the end of the 1st trimester nausea happening? I was so relieved when the sickness eased at 10 weeks, I haven't left the house much, almost at all since it began, it's been miserable and left me feeling so low and isolated. I'm scared to feel hopeful that the worst (in terms of nausea) is behind me.

What were your experiences?

I found I had worse nausea/sickness when I didnt sleep enough. It was cyclical for me, so decent sleep and I felt OK, terrible sleep meant severe symptoms.

Honestly yes unfortunately it's normal. I felt miserable the whole way through on my third pregnancy and then it got worse again as I got further along as severe heartburn added into the mix and nothing relieved it. Yes absolutely you will have weeks where you will feel much better. Rest as much as possible and mind yourself.
