How old is she? Why do you think she is being controlled by her Mum?

Reece1995 · 05/11/2022 19:09

Because shed never dream of having an abortion shes not the type of girl shes 29 years of age the only reason she is or has is because her mum keeps telling her to.... its Heartbraking....

First of all there's no "type of girl" to have an abortion.

I'm a little confused - are you saying she had already bought stuff for the nursery?? And she was only 8wks pregnant??

It's possible the mum is saying she had an abortion to get you out of the picture of course. Why did you guys split up?

mileaminute · 05/11/2022 19:35

And 29 isn't a girl

Reece1995 · 05/11/2022 19:37

Okay correction

29 year old woman
I believe it could be or is this a way for her to have the abortion and obviously waiting on a date for it?
And Yes she has she wanted to be prepared and i understand that stuff could happen within that timeframe.

Thanks for your comment.

While it it very traumatic for you, you have to understand that it's the woman's choice. You may think it's her mum, but in liklihood it's her decision

Ekátn · 06/11/2022 19:27

So in the few weeks she has known she was pregnant she bought everything for the nursery?

I doubt her mum is controlling her and made her have an abortion. If she wanted a baby that much, that she ran out and spent a fortune on nursery items.

Why did you split up? There’s every chance your ex, an adult woman, has decided that she doesn’t want to be a single parent or tied to you for the rest of her life.

Proamble · 06/11/2022 19:31

She’s kitted out a nursery in 3wks, that’s very impressive! Has she thought of professional interior design, she must have a lot of contacts to get all the furniture etc that quickly.

Gazelda · 06/11/2022 19:35

Why did you split?

Have you messaged her to say you hope she's ok and you're ready to talk whenever she is?

BigFatLiar · 06/11/2022 19:36

You should think yourself lucky then as it's saving you years of child maintenance and bei g linked to her. If she is bring influenced by her mother even more reason to be glad to be away, a bad relationship with your MiL isn't good.

Move on.

It's possible that she's keeping the baby but telling you that it was aborted
