Positive digital test and negative tests.

I did a digital clearblue test last week on Monday and the test said 1-2 weeks pregnant (I’m late on my period, I was spotting 2 days before my missed period and I’m having some pregnancy symptoms) I have been testing and the tests are coming back negative, I have mentioned this to my midwife and she said it could just be my Hcg levels, has anyone experienced this or know what the problem could be?

Hi @Shinah2002 , if you have had a positive test but are now getting negatives, it unfortunately sounds like a chemical.

Hi how did you get on with this? I have took a clear blue digital and says 1-2 weeks took one this morning says 1-2 again but the cheap test says negative. So confused! X

@Pennyroses Hi unfortunately for me I miscarried at just over 5 weeks pregnant. I think the clear blue digital tests are more sensitive than the cheap ones. I kept testing and I started bleeding took a test after the day I started bleeding on the clear blue and it said I wasn’t pregnant ended up at the early pregnancy unit any they said it was an early miscarriage. If you don’t start bleeding like I did try not to worry.
