CTG AT 28 WEEKS?

has anyone had a CTG at 28 weeks?
im 28 weeks today and having to go in to be monitored, what do they do? And is it safe for the baby?

They just put the band and trace monitors around your bump so they can check babies heart rate and movement

Ah okay thank you, I was told that it should be after 28 weeks that they do this but the midwife is sending me to have one done!

In my area they do them from
28 weeks up. Some areas do them earlier it just depends on their policies.

Yep, I had several!

I had daily, sometimes multiple from 28 weeks till 32 when she was born. Perfectly safe just super boring in the end. Take a drink and snacks, sometimes they make you go get something to eat if the baby is a bit quiet.
