Stroller recommendations?

I’m almost 12 weeks pregnant now and beginning to think about prams etc as, if all is well, we’re hoping to get some bargains in Black Friday sales.
I’m finding prams a minefield!
I’m fairly certain I want a stroller and open to add on newborn elements etc.

We have a large dog so whilst the boot in the car is pretty big, we’d like something that folds up as small as possible, whilst being sturdy for dog walks etc (although I’m fairly confident I’d use a carrier or sling for that sort of thing anyway.)

Any recommendations? Not bothered about cost!

Uppababy cruz isn’t a bad compromise between small fold and still being reasonably sturdy. If you don’t want a newborn bassinet then there’s the option of a snug seat insert instead so you can still get the one piece fold.

Not a specific recommendation but definitely go to a shop where they have lots to look at. Some just feel nicer to push and you can see how easy/small they are to fold. If you or your partner are particularly tall or short then some are more adjustable. I remember being totally overwhelmed when we first walked in but we narrowed it down fairly quickly.

If I was to go back and choose again I would go for a bigger basket underneath, the Uppababy and Joolz ones give me envy!

The carrycot was super useful for me - we walked absolutely everywhere as we live in a city centre so it’s much easier than driving and parking (it was also the only way DS would nap!). I have friends who never used the carrycot and preferred the car seat clips as they just used it to go from the car into shops etc.
