Hey!

So I know really this doesn't matter as it's only a difference of 3 days but I think it's just more curiosity than anything..... and of course, most babies aren't born on their EDD anyways!

So my dates were this:

DTD:
Aug 15th, 16th, 20th and 21st.

I got a positive ovulation test on the 20th.
Faint BFP on Aug 30th.

According to the 12 week scan my due date goes according to us conceiving the 15th/16th due to baby measurements.
Like I said I know it's only a 3 day difference and really doesn't matter but curious if it is a possibility I could have conceived from DTD on the 15th/16th? I'm thinking no 🤷🏻
My EDD according to ovulation is correct but baby was measuring my EDD+3 days which is what they've now used as my EDD.
Hope this makes sense 🙈

Thanks!

As you say, it doesn't really matter. I was given an EDD by the midwife based on date of last period and ovulation. At the scan it was brought forward 5 days. The baby will arrive when it arrives!

@auntierosi @J1290

Hey thank you both for your replies.
I don't usually go by the due dates I was just curious if there was actually a chance of me conceiving according to the scan dates.
My first was exactly on her due date. My second, exactly one week late, my third was exactly 2 weeks late....as long as this one isn't 3 weeks late than I'm cool lol
It's my families custom never to tell anyone our "exact" due date or the date given us by the scan etc we would just say for example "mid may or beginning of April" etc
Less pressure for everyone!!
Xxxx
