Bleeding

Yesterday I had an internal check to see if my cervix was still closed as I was spotting and I’m 9 weeks pregnant ( they was closed ) however today I’m spotting more red blood rather than pink - could this be due to the internal examination? My examination was done with a speculum I’m just wondering if that could cause bleeding too?

When was your internal sorry?

During pregnancy things are super sensitive inside you, because of hormones so the spotting could definitely be caused by the examination I would say! But if it gets quite heavy/you have any pain/or are worried then definitely speak to a Midwife if you feel you need :) x

@H1994 I was already spotting before the internal that's why I had it done and the doctor said my cervix was still closed so that's a good sign for no miscarriage but today I've bleed more then I have! Still not enough to cover a pan ( no pain either ) but I've now been spotting for 5 days

@billyx20 ahh okay, did they say to call back if the bleeding gets worse. No pain is a good sign, but if you're worried then I'd defo call again x
