Hello!

Does anyone know if the Caboo DX can be used on one shoulder? Like a lying down sling?

Having a baby horizontal in any sling is incredibly dangerous. A baby died whilst being worn in a sling in that position. It is impossible to keep the baby's airway open in that position.

Babywearing is a wonderful practice and very safe when guidelines are followed. You need to follow the TICKS rule, see the attached photo.

There is an excellent Facebook group called Babywearing UK which is full of knowledgable people, you can post pictures of your carrier and get lots of great advice as to how to make it more comfortable and safe for both you and your child, and troubleshooting.

But please never, ever have them horizontally unless you're feeding them, and then return them to an upright safe position as soon as they're done and tighten again appropriately.
