Waiting on a phone call in a few hours after test results come back as to whether baby needs to come out now after some obs this morning were less than ideal. I'm term, so it won't be early, but due to a history of SA an induction and what it might look like for me personally is frightening. Likewise another ELCS like my first means if we have a third attempting a VBAC would be even more difficult.

There's a million things I should be doing in case it's bad news, but I really just want to curl up with a blanket and watch a film that will cheer me up and take my mind off the uncertainty and fear. What would you watch, in my position?

A comedy series you know and love. Faulty Towers? friends? IT Crowd? The office? Rick and Morty?

My go to tv for such times is Schitt's Creek or Gavin & Stacey!

Midsomer Murders. Non-upsetting murders in lovely rural areas.

Ah Schitt's Creek was a rewatch already this pregnancy, I watched it for the first time heavily pregnant with DS1 and sobbed my heart out by the end, so had to rewatch this time too!

Thanks for the suggestions!

I always watch early series of Taskmaster when I need some mindless comedy. Wishing you well.

Medici on Netflix.

Thanks for all the suggestions, there's some favourites of mine there.

Blood results came back ok so have decided to watch and wait with monitoring every 2 days, plus a scan tomorrow to check baby is still happy and blood flow ok etc.

If it all still looks good then it'll be an induction in a week if I don't spontaneously go in to labour before then. So just need to get this baby to come out of me willingly now!
