SHOOTING PAIN IN VAGINA - 15W

Hello has anyone experienced a shooting pain in the vagina that comes and goes?

akso happens up the bum sometimes and catches me off guard! ☹️

scared it may mean there’s a problem going on or is it likely to be just normal stretching etc?

feels quite intense when it happens

Normal, people often refer to a lightning vag! Unless you have cramps and/or red bleeding don’t worry.

Normal - lightning crotch or fanny daggers! Can also be bum daggers. Might also happen just generally in cycles not just when pregnant

It's awful honestly! I didn't know what it was until after my first. But I do remember getting it for the first time waiting for a bus, and I didn't know what was going on 😂 felt like a massive hot poker was being jabbed up my arse 😂

@PaisleyP i know!! Sometimes I’m talking to someone in work and I’m like oh myyyyy.. trying to not show I’m being crippled internally 🤣 really not fun !! Seems worse when standing mind doesn’t it it’s like your legs just want to crumble underneath you 🤣 being a woman is so lovely x

@Rainbowchasing2022 It is! I'm on my 4th baby now and I swear the more kids you have, the more intense it's getting 🤦🏽‍♀️

@Namechangedforspooky oh that sounds awful! This is my third pregnancy but furthest I’ve got so don’t think it would have been made worse by the other two 🙈 did you have it early on? Xx
