I'm 6 weeks pregnant. Is it normal to feel little pains now and again like period pains?

I always got sharp pains in one particular spot and everything was always okay so for me pain just meant something was growing!

Very strange isn't it. Think it's just with our body changing but it's easy for it to freak us out!

Yep completely normal!
Its been mentioned on the June 2023 group quite a few times now.
I have them and seems 90% of others around the 4-8 week mark do also so nothing to worry about unless it’s sharp, consistent and followed by bleeding (from consensus)x

It’s not really strange when you think about it, the muscles and ligaments are stretching and twinging same as they do for periods, just for a different reason.
