Normal movements

28w and no clear pattern yet. Anterior placenta hasn't helped.
When I see mw she asks if everything is ok with babies movements and not really sure how to answer. What is normal? Should I be looking for a set number of movements per hour/day? Or just wait for a clear pattern.

I actually could have written this too. 27 weeks and exactly the same, only thing really is that there are certain foods that get my baby moving. Also at this stage we are still quite busy working etc so harder to sit and relax, if possible try make a couple days of doing nothing and note down baby's movements on those days, I know its not easy.

In terms of midwife maybe let her know your concerns and see what advice she has for you. At my appt next week I will be mentioning this too. It's quite scary as most women have established baby movements by now. I know that's not much help, awake right now thinking of the same thing 💐

I never really felt any movements with my son, I had placenta on front. He was fine when born but it is worrying during pregnancy
