Please share your experiences!

I've got a 2 year old boy with a second on the way! So excited but interested to hear experiences :).

Were they close when little and growing up? Did they fight/argue a lot?! Similar interests or complete opposites?

Thanks in advance!

Hi OP. I have two boys - which is exactly what I'd always secretly hoped for! They're only 17 months apart and due to their birthdays are only one school year apart. They used to fight but have pretty much stopped to be honest and now play so well most of the time. Not always of course! Planning activities is a breeze though as they love all the same types of things to do - despite actually being quite opposite characters in many ways. They also look completely different. One has brown hair and brown eyes and the other one is blonde with blue eyes! They're 6.5 and 8 now. Best of luck with it all!

2 teenage boys here, 2 and a half years apart.
They’ve never fought with each other, the odd argument of course but never anything massive.
i’m not sure why you think 2 boys will be any different to 2 girls or a boy and a girl

Thanks both! Good to hear they get on well.

@Muchtoomuchtodo nothing to do with how they'd be different to 2 girls/1 of each, just curious how well they get on together :).

I had a brother and we argued a lot growing up, so hoping 2 brothers will get on better 😂

2 boys, about 3 years apart, chalk and cheese. Sometimes they get on, sometimes they don't (very much my siblings and me growing up). They share a room and are both reluctant to change that so it can't be so bad.

Don't think you'll be lucky with hand-me-downs though - mine have totally different interests toy-wise, and different tastes in clothes, so beyond basic joggers and t-shirts I still end up buying DS2 a new wardrobe when he grows

@SunThroughTheCloudsAt6am I can't wait to see what my second will be like! Whether he will be similar to my eldest or the total opposite.

Hopefully we'll get away with the hand me downs for a couple of years! Of course I'm sure they'll have different likes and dislikes as they get older and will have different styles.
