9 weeks pregnancy symptoms gone

Hi,
I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant and I started getting symptoms of nausea, sore boobs, the usuals etc around week 6. I also have started having some mild lower belly/pelvis cramps in the last week, all of which midwife has said it completely normal. We had a private scan at 8 weeks and everything was ok and we saw the heartbeat.

However I am worrying because in the last few days, I've noticed I am not feeling as sick anymore. I was never actually sick but the nausea was pretty constant from morning till afternoon and was much worse when I got hungry. I was having to snack almost constantly to stop being sick.
Although I am glad to not be feeling as bad, I am really worried this isn't a good sign and something may have happened to the baby.

My hormones have been crazy today (I read they usually peak at week 9) and I have not been able to stop crying.
I wish I knew how to reassure myself that everything is ok. Do you think the symptoms suddenly stopping is normal? I know they usually ease up towards the end of the first trimester but I wasn't expecting it to fade so quickly. Or maybe they'll come back?
Anyway just looking for words of reassurance.

We were hoping to tell a few family members this week as I've had quite bad anxiety keeping it all a secret but I'm worried I shouldn't now as something may be wrong.

Thanks in advance xxx

@daisychains76 we are different here in Belfast, so at my booking appointment I will have my 'first' scan as well as all the other stuff you mentioned.
I'm my other half is busting to book another private scan hahaha he's just too excited bless him. Xx

Hey @GingerbreadTM ☺️ bless you, hope you feel better soon! I celebrate each week too! Is the booking appointment the 12 week scan? If so I have mine on 17th Nov but I'm planning on having a private one next Friday xx

@WhatAmIDoingWrong123 thank you for sharing! Happy birthday to your little one 🎉 x

@daisychains76 I'm glad it went well! That's crap regarding delay in scan dates. I got mine when I had my 8 week scan, they booked mine in the scan room whilst I waited. Really bizarre how it differs so much from trust to trust. I'm glad the midwife offered some reassurance. I've got my first midwife appointment Wednesday. Xx

Yes they do it all together here apparently, but I'll be waking into it oblivious haha

We had a private scan last weekend when I was 6w 4d but I still have the anxiety 😟
She was so lovely during the scan but I struggled to hold my breath long enough to see the heartbeat because I started crying 🙈 I have 2 scan photos home with me which I can't stop looking at 😍 my parents are convinced there's 2 but we were told there was only one haha xx

I had two miscarriages between my first and second children and just couldn't relax at all in my last pregnancy. It didn't help that she'd play hide and seek in the midwife appointments and I ended up being sent straight to the hospital as they couldn't find a heartbeat - twice! It was all worth it in the end but there were a lot of sleepless nights. The staff were brilliant though (e.g. sending me straight for scans for reassurance). Fingers crossed for no more scares.

How is everyone feeling??

I'm having a really emotional day with no symptoms other than tears flowing and tiredness. Roll on my 12 week scan to get shot of this horrible anxiety 😥 xx

Hey @GingerbreadTM hope you're okay, this pregnancy stuff is really quite overwhelming/anxiety inducing isn't it 😵‍💫 so glad your private scan looked good a couple of weeks ago!

I've been signed off work until after my 12 week scan on 17th.

I'm really struggling with anxiety, tiredness and insomnia. Xx

@elm26 I hope you're resting up and promoting lots of self care 🧡 even taking in a few box sets to pass time by.
Oh it's ridiculous in the early stages of pregnancy and it's such a long wait to the 12 week scan too.
I'm constantly touching my boobs to check if they're sore & heavy still 🙈🤣 I caught myself doing it a few times today stuck in traffic on the motorway - I'm sure the work men in the lane beside me were wondering what on earth was I doing 🤣🤣
It's definitely sent me a bit crazy haha.

I hope everyone is doing good/the best they can 💜xx
