I'm currently 6weeks + 5 days and just can't put into words how awful I feel! The sickness, nausea and generally feeling rubbish is getting to me!

This is my second baby but no way did I remember feeling this bad with my first, currently feeling like I'm not cut out for pregnancy and just want to lay in a ball and cry!!

Any tips on how to feel a bit more normal?!

Its worse because you also have to parent or it could be twins. Sleep as much as you can and drink lots (lime and soda helped me).

Sickness bands, they’re not going to get rid of sickness but they help a lot and drinking anything with ginger in it x

@40andfit my little girl is 5 soon so being pregnant feels like a life time ago! Luckily it's half term so I'm just going to sleep and drink lemonade!

@Churchymcchurch I'll give the bands a try, willing to try anything 😆

I found second time round so much worse than first!

I'm now 16 weeks and feeling much better, but it's tough going! Just know you've done it before and it does get better!

I’m 8+3 with #2 and I feel your pain!! DS is 4 and I must have mentally blocked out the first trimester!

With DS all I could manage was soup and grapefruit. Lying down helped as moving around made me feel sick.

I find with this one I have to eat every 2 hours or I feel really nauseous. If I get too hungry, that’s it, I’ll feel awful for hours.

I’ve been craving chips and those iced chocolate coffee drinks weirdly as I hate coffee and creamy food/drink.

I’m taking it one day at a time, trying to nibble on fruit or snacks regularly and getting plenty of rest. DH has had to take on the lion’s share of everything else but thankfully has done so without prompting.

Hopefully this will pass quickly for you.

I'm currently 27 weeks into the second pregnancy with a 3 year old and it's completely different to the first time around - or I just don't remember!

Anything to lighten the load with other children will help, plenty of water, vitamins, good diet and rest if possible! All the easy things you could normally do to enhance your lifestyle.

The physical pains for me in back/pelvis I don't remember having the first time around so that's not been good.

You're still in the very early stages and hopefully the worst of it (sickness etc) will be over soon!

Congratulations and fingers crossed you have an easy ride!
