I got my BFP 3 days ago, but it's still very early on. Period was due yesterday. I have succumbed to the temptation to test daily. Today's line doesn't look any darker... I also don't have any symptoms either, no nausea, no sore boobs nothing.

And it was like this with my last pregnancy being symptomless. Had an early scan at what was supposed to be 8 weeks, but was only measuring 6 weeks in size so immediately felt alarmed. Ended in a mmc found at 12 week scan, embryo had stopped at 7 weeks measurements...so I'm terrified it will happen again. My age probably isn't helping (I'm turning 37 soon).

Don't really have a question to ask, just needed to let it out. Really hoping for our rainbow 🌈

I'm 6 weeks pregnant after two miscarriages and I have no symptoms either.

Sending lots of positive thoughts. This is a new egg sperm and pregnancy. Everything crossed for you!!

At 37 you’re still more than capable of having a healthy pregnancy. If it helps, I was 20 when I had a mmc at 9 weeks- it can happen at any age, and is common for a lot of women. It doesn’t mean they can’t carry a baby to term. I conceived a month and a half later and had my little boy. It’s natural to worry, but please stop testing and try to relax.

The anxiety is awful. I had two pregnancy losses before my son and it's only looking back that I can see how mentally unwell I was during the pregnancy due to the anxiety. Just take it day by day. If you can afford a private scan then book one.

For what it's worth, pregnancy tests are a terrible indication of a successful pregnancy. So save your pennies!

Good luck, I hope it works out this time, it's so tough getting through pregnancy after loss Flowers

@Braylen hey lovely, congratulations, I'm pregnant after two MCs, my last one being in June at 12 weeks, I am absolutely terrified too, but just trying to take it day by day and celebrate the fact that today I am pregnant! Here if you want to chat! Sometimes I've found it really really helps to know others are feeling the same thing xx

Moosh18 · 21/10/2022 19:49

@Braylen I'm also 36 next week, it's not the age that's worrying me currently, it's my lack of symptoms! X

Thank you for your messages of empathy and support everyone it means a lot. It's helping me adjust my perspective and just focus on the here and now. I will step away from the pee sticks! I wonder if you can request blood test to measure HCG levels though? I guess it's probably better to wait and get an early scan. Though not much can be seen on abdominal ultrasound until after 6 weeks right?

I am sorry for your loss.
I had a Mc at 12 weeks with a D&C and the got pg about a week later. My periods hadn’t returned and it was very difficult from a psychological perspective.
However, she is about to turn 18 so it all turned out ok in the end

best of luck x

Moosh18 · 22/10/2022 05:53

@Braylen no, I'd wait until 7/8 weeks for an ultrasound, you can book an appointment with docs and see if they will do 48 hour bloods, i would maybe book a scan for 7 weeks ish and focus on that date? X

Coming back to say, I'm now having a little bit of bleeding and cramps. Feels like it's the beginning of the end :(

I called epu and they can scan me Tuesday morning, but I'm to go there ASAP if bleeding becomes heavy and painful.

Feeling sad and scared :(
