In bed with norovirus, baby moving constantly, is it just because I'm lying down?

Stuck in bed with norovirus feeling crap, baby has moved loads today, seems to be constantly awake. I don't want to drag myself to the maternity unit with norovirus for obvious reasons! Is it likely just because I'm lying down in bed all day with, no distractions etc? Don't want to do the wrong thing!

Could be your noticing it more. Ring maternity triage for advice.

You should definitely call about any change in movements, just to be on the safe side. They would much rather you do that!
But personally, I've been signed off sick due to pgp and I'm noticing my baby move loads as well. When I was working, I'd get to the end of the day and not know if I'd felt anything so would have to go lie down for an hour to check! Can't beleive how much movement I was missing from rushing around so much! I'm having regular growth scans and dopplers though so was able to mention it the next day to the midwife.

I had norovirus a few weeks ago when I was 27 weeks pregnant and the baby was having a riot / disco in there. Would be particularly active just before I needed to get sick again it was like a little warning! I've never known this baby move so much as when I had the bug.
It was grim, partner and DC1 got over it in 24 hours but I was quite ill and couldn't keep water down for nearly 48 hours. 111 and triage reassured me baby was getting everything it needed from me, but id be wiped out by it. But it did pass x
