Hi. I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant and consultant led having extra growth scans due to smaller babies in the past.
All my growth scan have been spot on up until my 36 week one. Baby's legs and head have always been around the 50 centile and abdomen just below. But this time his AC has accelerated above the 95th and off the chart whilst head and legs stay 50th. They've told me it's too late for a glucose test and have me monitoring sugar levels myself for a week. Has anybody experienced this and not had GD? What was the outcome in the end? They've questioned early induction and booked another scan for 38 weeks.
This morning I also had a sugar level of 3.8 before eating. I'm not sure if they're looking for only high readings to diagnose GD. Trying to call them up but line is always unavailable.

I had a late scan at 39+6 and it was completely out, said 9 pound 13 and she was born 8 pound 6! Was tested for Gd earlier on in pregnancy and was negative. They pushed for a section and induction, I accepted a sweep and she was born 3 days later no issues at all. The scans can be 20% out at this late stage so take it all with a pinch of salt, even the Sonographer told me it was likely to be wrong.
