Hi all

After a CP 2 months ago, we got out next BFP this month. I paid for a blood test on Tuesday (14 DPO) and day my period was due, it was 91.

I've taken a ClearBlue test today (17 DPO) and it's showing 1-2 weeks, this indicates HCG lower than 150 based on their instructions.

I'm trying desperately to get a blood test today but my GP won't do one, and there isn't anywhere local to me (I was on holiday earlier this week, so managed to find somewhere there).

So I guess I'm just looking for your thoughts, 91 3 days ago, and today still under 150... anyone had similar?

Please don't rely on those bloody digital tests for quantitative measurements of HCG!

There's a thread just a few down from yours where someone never ever got more than 1-2 and is now 12 weeks or so.

They're not meant for that and there are too many variables.

Here's my test progression which seems to be going in the right direction?

Hey @Batbatbatty - ah I somehow must have missed that one (thought I'd read every thread on here 😁)! Thank you for your reassurance, I told myself I'd not become obsessive with it, but my goodness it's tough!

Been there done that, it really doesn't help!

If you're going to test regularly with the strips then at least just every 2 days so you'll see the progression.

Fingers crossed for a sticky bean!

If I'm honest clearblue has always been accurate for me and I also had blood tests alongside them. I'm not going to say that you you not get your hopes up as I know that lots of people get "wrong" answers from these tests but in my experience they accurately predicted 5 impending miscarriages

@wanttoplayboardgames Sorry your having a worrisome time! I've been there too! Those bloody CB tests have caused me some anxiety this pregnancy, too.

RE hCG blood test, Holland and Barrett do a postal one I believe.

@wanttoplayboardgames I found the link for the test, in case you're interested: www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/medichecks-pregnancy-blood-test-60051101?skuid=051101

Thank you @B1993 ! I've had some further results this afternoon (not HCG related), and my GP has booked me in for bloods on Monday- keeping everything crossed!

Just to update the thread in case anyone ever comes across this with a similar concern...

14 DPO - 91 HCG
20 DOO - 1067 HCG

I don't have another 'how many weeks' test but all pink line ones are much stronger.

Looks like everything is moving in the right direction and if you're reading this in the future I hope it all works out for you!
