Hi everyone,

Just wondering how anyone copes with anxiety after getting pregnant after a miscarriage? Had a MC 7 weeks ago and have a very faint line on a test there, I'm not due my period until Tuesday.
While I'm so happy, I'm filled with anxiety and fear that something will happen 😩
I'd love to enjoy this pregnancy but I'm finding it hard to think I will x

Gentle congratulations @Daniki and so sorry for your previous loss. I’m pregnant again after a miscarriage and the early stages are so hard. Do whatever you need to do to help ease the anxiety. I booked myself an early scan (and have had scans every 2 to 3 weeks since). If you feel like that will help you and you can afford it then go for it, it’s really helped me but isn’t for everyone. I also stayed off mumsnet posts from people who are worried about loss of symptoms/thought they were going through a miscarriage/had a miscarriage as it was so triggering for me in the early stages. People will tell you not to stress, but I don’t think that’s helpful and it is so much easier said than done. But do try not to obsess over your symptoms and do let yourself be happy/excited about this pregnancy. It does get easier every week, I am 19 weeks now and still have the odd spiral, but I’ve started to believe that it will be okay ☺️. Take care of yourself and congratulations again.

Congratulations to you too! 😌 yea I defo will stay off those posts I couldn’t cope. Found myself reading them the last time when I was spotting and it was becoming obsessive 🥴 the early pregnancy unit offers an early scan after a loss which I’m grateful for as such a long wait until 12 weeks!
