Swaddle for winter baby?

Hi everyone

Just wondering, what's the best swaddle in your opinion for a winter baby? December or January. Would a regular one do or something more weighted?

Thank you

Interestingly when I had my son 4 years at UCLH in London they told me recommendation is not to swaddle anymore as stops baby regulating temp

I would just use a regular one, my son was born in October and when it got really cold we'd dress him in a long sleeve vest, sleep suit and then swaddle. During naps we'd put a thin blanket over him in his Moses basket, at night remove the blanket as obviously we'd also be asleep and not closely watching him. He was never cold or too hot. Babies will let you know if they're not happy.

Weve bought 2.5tog tommee tippee swaddle sacks. I looked at loads and these seemed great. And on the back they have a guide of what they should wear underneath based on room temperature x

I was just told by St Thomas’ that swaddles and anything weighted are not recommended for SIDS risk.
