Hi, was wondering what are the chances of getting pregnant with the withdrawal method. I was ovulating the next day. Got a 7 month old. If I'm being honest I'd be disappointed if I didn't end up being pregnant but relieved at the same time as its too soon.

My partner wanted to get a lube to kill sperm but he just got a water based one. Will that have any affect on sperm?

@Emmamoo89 I am no expert, but would say most likely to have had no affect at all.

Also in mine and friends experiences the withdrawal method makes no difference, may as well just leave it in! 🤣 should 100% not be used as a contraceptive method 🤣🙈.

Yes definitely not 🤣🤣 I didn't know I was ovulating till the next day 🤣 we shall see if I am. Currently 2dpo and so impatient 🙈

I've used the withdrawal method successfully for 2 years. Whether it works for you depends on whether the man has sperm in precum. Most men don't, but some do.

For the ones that don't who have enough control to pull out, the withdrawal method is very effective.

If you want another baby, start trying properly for max chances. Good luck!

We successfully used the withdrawal method for months.
First and only time we didn’t withdraw and… 😂
Although surprised we are extremely happy however and hoping we hold and have a healthy pregnancy and baby 😊

Successfully used withdrawal for years. The only times we didn't withdraw I fell pregnant with both kids (now 11 & 8)
I'm now on mirena IUD, definitely don't want anymore kids so making sure I don't.

Withdrawal method failed then morning after pill failed for us, currently 30 weeks pregnant. I’d say the chances of pregnancy for u are high! X

Aww congratulations 😊💕 I'm hoping so! Even tho it's not the right time I believe everything happens for a reason that it's meant to be. I'll know by the end of the month. X

I would also like to add. Sorry tmi I'm not sure if this was him or me but I got a wet patch in my jarmie bottoms. Could a bit of slipped out before he ejaculated? I know stupid question but I know it wasn't me. And it felt like if he had cum in me but not as much if he didn't pull out

It was a slip up. Didn't know I was ovulating the next day till i started having symptoms.
