Exhausted at 5 weeks!

This is my second pregnancy. I remember
being tired with my first but not to this extent. I feel like my life force has been drained! I was almost on tears this morning! Perhaps it's because I have a toddler and I'm working full time. When does it usually pass?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Oh god, I don't want to put fear in you but I had a 17 month old when I was about 5 weeks and I was exhausted. Just knackered. Went for a private scan at 7 weeks and it was twins 😅.

Seriously though, take some rest and if toddler isn't in childcare, maybe just put them in for half a day or a day. You will need lots and lots of breaks this time around!

Sorry, just read you were working full time- can you drop a day? I dropped to 3 lol

I'm 9 weeks and literally EXHAUSTED. Thank God before I knew I was pregnant I dropped to 4 days so I have a 3 day weekend

I can't offer reassurance but I can certainly offer companionship because I feel exactly the same! 5 weeks today - although I don't have a toddler as well so hats off to you! Hopefully we feel a bit more like ourselves in the coming weeks.

I'm 6 weeks tomorrow with a 3yr old and I'm exhausted too! Definitely feels worse than last time. I work 4 days a week but tbh that is less tiring than my day off with my toddler! I mainly work from home whereas last time I was commuting everyday, don't think I could cope with that now. I hope it passes soon, I've got a really busy week in work next week and some travel which I think is gonna wipe me out.

blebbleb · 20/10/2022 11:23

@cravingmilkshake wow I hope it's not twins tbh 😆 unfortunately I can't drop any days.

@thedust hope the week isn't too hard on you! I only have a 3 mile drive so it's not too bad. I agree I find work days much more relaxing 😆

My mum always says that she knew she was surprise-pregnant with me when she accidentally fell asleep on the floor 😋

Normal imho. In your first pregnancy you can chill all the time when you aren't working, in subsequent ones not so much, plus you're older!

blebbleb · 20/10/2022 11:33

@AquaticSewingMachine ha yes. I'm 38 and feel 100 right now!
