Bleeding during and post ovulation after chemical

Hello.

I had what appeared to be a chemical in the beginning of the month.

Last weekend my ovulation tests turned positive and we did TTC again. Saturday and Sunday I had light bleeding. Yesterday appeared to stop but tonight I experienced quite some discharge of darker color.

Should I worry or could it be because of the chemical? I'm worried about an ectopic... and also if it has something to do with us trying again so fast.

I had a chemical at the end of August. Just four weeks later I tested positive for a new pregnancy. I'm currently 7 weeks and so far things seem to be going well (🤞🏻) despite some bright red spotting early on! I went for a scan a week ago to check in on baby and saw a lovely strong heartbeat. The midwife did mention that the bleeding could be left over from the miscarriage (not convinced myself since it was bright red and not brown/old blood) but who knows?!

It's not uncommon to bleed when ovulating so that could have been the cause? I highly doubt it's an ectopic as these are rare and you generally wouldn't have symptoms of that so soon.

I did think it may be ovulation bleeding, but this would be the 4 day... maybe there was indeed some old blood, as on Saturday bleeding was pink.

I also assume that in case of an ectopic, I wouldn't have ovulated...

@B1993 Hiya, I know this is a few months old but can you please tell me the outcome? I had a CP 3rd January and ovulated again 17th January but been spotting since day after ovulation- still spotting now! I’ve had all sorts going through my mind!
