Just wondering if anyone has any advice. I’m struggling with a stitch like pain at the top of my bump, slightly to the left of centre. It doesn’t feel deep inside/internal and not crampy. Feels very ‘shallow’/just under the skin and very much like a stitch feels. It’s in a very specific place and not a general ache/pain. Had thought it was caused by how I’d been sitting at work which was causing me some pain across my back under my shoulders so thought it was linked in terms of how that was prob also putting strain on my stomach muscles. Not so sure now as my back is ok today after taking a cushion to work but the bump pain is still there. It gets worse as the day goes on/the more walking I do and tends to go away overnight when I rest.
so thinking it’s def muscle strain related. Is there a particular muscle there that could be responsible and does anyone know anything I could do to alleviate the strain on it? I’m 30 weeks and already sleep on my side with a pregnancy pillow under bump/between my legs/supporting my back and neck. Only thing I can find online is either lower down pelvic pain or under rib pain related to pre eclampsia which I’m sure it isn’t as I test BP and protein in urine twice a week at home due to raised BP at my 12 week scan. Sorry for the long post! Thanks
