Hey guys, I’m 37 weeks today and got my ELCS one week today. Since yesterday night I’ve been having inner upper thigh pain which kinda feels like I’ve pulled muscles in both my thighs except that I haven’t. Is this normal?

I have this but have put it down to general pelvic pain - am 36 weeks but have had it for about 2 weeks? It's worst if I've been sitting on a hard chair, sleeping with a pillow between my legs is helping. If it's come on suddenly there's no harm in asking your midwife for advice! Good luck for next week!

Sounds like pelvic girdle pain to me! With your c-section so soon there's nothing anyone can really do - if it starts earlier you can get physio for it.

Have a look online for some tips on how to manage pgp/SPD to get you through the next week. Things like sleeping with a pillow between your legs, getting dressed sitting down, turning over in bed with your knees together.

It sucks but not long before your baby is here! Mine stopped in the week after he was born.

It could be pelvic girdle pain or it could also be sacroiliac joint pain which is a similar thing but a different place. I found good exercises on youtube helped but take it easy as you can overdo it quickly at this stage. Good luck!
