Uncomfortable or pressure on organs at 18 weeks pregnant

This is my second pregnancy.

With both pregnancies I started feeling the baby move at 16 weeks. with my first it was like big rolls and weak flutters.

I feel a lot more with my second and I know that is normal. But while it also started with flutters, I felt a lot of them even from 16 weeks.

now it’s very uncomfortable if I lie on my back or on my left/right, so anything other apart from standing, I feel a bearing down, a pressure on my organs. And when she rolls (I know it’s a girl already) it’s even more uncomfortable. I feel exactly where the bulk of her is, and it varies obviously, but where the bulk of her is that’s where I feel the pressure .

changing position only helps for a little bit.

she also moves quite a lot already, and it looks like she moves more in the evening, same as my first.

is this normal? I can imagine this only getting worse and I have more than half of the pregnancy left.

The best person to speak to is your midwife imo but you could try a ring cushion so you can lay on your front?

Yes I lay on my front for a time when I sleep but I can’t read a book or rest like that for long periods. When I sleep I’m not bothered by this anyway, but otherwise I have hours when it’s constant, like tonight.
I’ll see if I can send a message to my midwife as I won’t see her until Dec.
I doubt there is anything anyone can do but just wondering if this is normal.
