Potty shot - nothing there?!

Hi all, I don't have a picture but I'm 35 weeks pregnant and last week went for a scan to check that the baby had turned from
Breech (it has). Anyway, I have been almost adamant that I am carrying a little boy due to the nub theory. Posted on here various times and always told boy. Then I had my scan last week, he showed me a shot of the legs.. both there clear as day and open - there was the join as clear as anything (where a Willy or vagina would be) but nothing there - flat, nothing protruding but no lines either... has anyone else had this? Does this seem as though it's actually likely to be a girl? Yes I could've asked but I want the surprise... but it's driving me crazy... so thought I'd try and get some thoughts on here! Please let me know!!! Thank you xxx

Sometimes the scans can be blurry and unclear so I wouldn't worry. I might go more towards girl though but thats only because with my last baby he was very clearly a boy ( but that was a 4D scan).

@cookiecreammmpie thanks for replying... I feel the same ... I felt as though there would have at least been a blur or something if there was a Willy. But absolutely nothing?!? Xx

I’ve gone back and looked at your nub pic and it’s tricky because at first glance it looks like there’s stacking but I’m not so sure it’s not cord in the background. Also the nub is flat so indicates girl but your scan was 12 weeks so there’s time for it to rise! I would lean girl especially as you had a clear potty shot view.

First pic is a typical boy nub. I’d be pretty certain this is a boy after seeing this x

At my 14 week scan my baby had a classic girl nub, just had our 22 week scan and there's no denying he is 100% male! It was like a while other limb 🤣 I think the nub theory is just that... a theory! You've only got a few weeks left to find out, in the meantime it's kinda fun that you don't know 😊

Yeah I just need to wait!! It's so consuming though 😩😩😩 can't help but dream of another little girl - which is also making me feel terrible!!! Thanks for all of your thoughts and comments ❤️ not long now!! Xxx

It's obvious from the context what it means, but from the thread title I assumed somene had taken a photo of the contents of a potty.

Is this really a phrase that people use in the context of scan photo chat? It's grim.

I dunno is it meant to be some sort of play on words with "pot shot"? But that makes no sense as a pot shot is just firing randomly and aggressively.
