Hi all, I work in an office and I have some lovely friends who I talk to about everything.
Our Xmas do is on the 2nd December but I will only be 11 week pregnant then and I'm concerned about 1 - showing, because this is my 2nd time round, and 2 - everyone definitely noticing I'm not drinking!

I am going to book a private scan for the day before, so I can tell them at the Xmas party - would you consider this too early still given it being the first trimester?

I had 2 early reassurance scans, one at 7.5 weeks and one at nearly 11. Told family and colleagues after the 2nd. Then had my nhs scan at 12.5

Its only too early if you're uncomfortable. I told my colleagues the day after I got my positive test. I think I was just less than 4 weeks gone. I worked in a really small team, there were only about 5 of us, but there really is no right or wrong way to do it! Just whatever you're comfortable with!

It's up to you what you'd feel comfortable telling colleagues. I lost my previous pregnancy at 11 weeks so trying to see if I can stretch to 20+ weeks!
