Hi All,
I have had two miscarriages this year I'm 38 and have no children and I'm terrified that I will miscarry again. Las lt week I had a scan just under six weeks and saw a fluttering heart beat. I didn took because last pregnancy the heart beat was failing and I found it so hard to look at this scan but the person doing it was very positive. Since then I had nausea and sore nipples up till Friday nipples are still tender at times to touch but the nausea seems to be gone. So three days now and nausea hasn't come back I have what feels like cramping in my stomach but no bleeding or anything. Has anyone experienced this with a good outcome in just so worried and my next scan isn't until next Monday just so worried I'll have another miscarriage this year. We had the tests done after last miscarriage and they couldn't see anything wrong just put me on asprin. All views would be very welcome

Sorry you are going through this. I am also going through my second miscarriage with no children and am nearly 37. I had private testing after first miscarriage and all was broadly fine / average. I am feeling so devastated. I hope we get our happy endings soon. I hope everything turned out well for you. Xx

36 here and 3rd pregnancy after 2 early miscarriages, 28 weeks and all going okay so far. Early days were tough, I was a mess before every scan and just couldn’t believe things would be okay. My symptoms fluctuated as well, I googled and worried and didn’t get real nausea until week 7 or so. I felt constant aches / some cramping too and had a few brown bleeding episodes - still, it turned out okay. I really hope it’s the same for you this time. Nothing would have eliminated my anxiety in those early days so I wouldn’t even try to suggest not to worry, but I kept reminding myself the odds were on my side - even after two losses and the age, they were still on my side. They are on your side too x

Hi... im so sorry for your losses 😞

I lost two pregnancies in 2021 and fell pregnant in jan this year... now sat breastfeeding her.
I also had symptoms come and go early on and cramps so bad I sat on the loo expecting the worst two times in the beginning ( would always be middle of the night?!)
Honestly they were so painful I was convinced the pregnancy was ending. I had blood on tissue weeks 4/5/6 when I wiped a few times too. My breasts would be sensitive on and off and sickness came and went till about 8 weeks and then BAM... it really hit and I was nauseous with one daily vomiting session till week 16
Honestly/ from my own experience- each of the three pregnancies were different
This third time the only way I could keep going was to get a scan every two weeks just so I could be absolutely sure things were ok/progressing
I was 37 in 2021 too. I appreciate this is very expensive but when I had bleeding I made sure I let GP know so I could be referred to EPU, also make sure you let GP know you're pregnant so it can be logged in case you do need further investigation

I hope everything goes well for you OP.
I was very scared but also tried my hardest to embrace it ( I didn't want all to be ok and I look back and didn't enjoy it ) as it will most likely be my only child.
🤞🏼 for you ✨
