Hi I'm 7 weeks pregnant and I have NO symptoms whatsoever, I feel absolutely fine and if it wasn't for the missed period I'd have no idea I was pregnant. Should I be worried? Does that mean there's a problem with baby?

I have my 1st midwife appointment next week

No. It means you’re lucky. Don’t stress. You’re doing fine. Look how many women have given birth without knowing they were pregnant. Be thankful you’re able to keep your face out the toilet

Hi @billyx20 I'm 10+2 and have had no symptoms at all apart from being a bit more tired, sometimes napping in the afternoon, but no sore boobs, nausea, sickness etc at all. Wouldn't even know I was pregnant had I not missed a period! Had a scan at 8+4 and everything was looking fine 🙃 you could always book a private scan if it would be helpful? Some people like the reassurance

Glera · 17/10/2022 08:04

I know you may not feel lucky as it is causing you worry, but truly this is a lucky pregnancy. It isn't uncommon for someone to have no symptoms really. As someone has said, it's no fun your face being best friends with the toilet for weeks on end.

Wishing you so much luck, despite my green eyed envy.

Greenqueen27 · 17/10/2022 08:17

my first two pregnancies were completely symptom free (other than missed periods). Both resulted in beautiful healthy babies! My third pregnancy however was full of debilitating nausea so definitely enjoy your pregnancy!

Try to not get bogged down with what pregnancy symptoms mean and don't mean. Everyone is different and everyone's body's will deal with pregnancy differently. Both of my pregnancies I had very few symptoms in the first trimester. I felt more with my son, but with my daughter I used to tell people I genuinely wouldn't have known I was pregnant if it wasn't for the baby bump!

Klb18 · 18/10/2022 04:58

I am 7 weeks too, have no symptoms and absolutely feel your pain with the stress and worry that something is wrong.

I spoke to the early pregnancy unit and I have a scan on Wednesday but I have had an ectopic in the past.

Its so reassuring to read everyone’s comments so thank you for shining some hope on to a stressful situation.

fingers crossed @billyx20 that everything will be ok 🙏

MintJulia · 18/10/2022 06:49

It's fine. I didn't have any symptoms until the bump started to show at 20 weeks. Some people don't

Be grateful 😊 Some people seem to have a horrible time.

billyx20 · 20/10/2022 10:42

@Klb18 how did your scan go?

oh it’s so worrying I feel blessed for having no symptoms then on the other hand I’m like, but I kind of wish I had symptoms so I knew everything was Ok!
