Really strange but has any one ever had a gut feeling they need to be seen before? I don't know if it's anxiety or not but this is my 4th baby and I feel like something isn't right tonight. Her movements seem a tad slower but she's usually very active and I had a growth scan on Tuesday and all was well and good but I dunno I just feel "off". I do have a midwife appt Monday but I'm wondering if maybe it's just anxiety?
Also have an anterior placenta but that hasn't made a difference to movements I've felt daily Confused

Go to hospital now. Hopefully it is nothing but better to be safer than sorry.

I'll give them a ring just feel really stupid.

Don't feel stupid, you know your body best. It's hopefully fine but always best to get checked

ZoeQ90 · 15/10/2022 21:43

They'd rather see 100 women for nothing to save one baby than miss that one baby who needed it. Go. They see you everyday and are used to it, don't feel stupid.

I don’t want to scare you but yes, I have felt like that in a pregnancy and I was right, something was wrong.

Please go straight in.

Don't feel stupid. They would rather you check than leave it. I am 33 weeks and was aware that my baby was not moving as much today. It happened the other day too, so I rang maternity assessment and they said to come in. They put a trace in for half an hour and all was grand. Noone made me feel silly, rather they were very encouraging of coming right back if I have the same feeling again. They said ALWAYS check, they would rather see people with no issues constantly than miss the one they could have saved.

How are you this morning @PaisleyP ?

PaisleyP · 16/10/2022 17:18

Hey sorry forgot to update. All ok think she's moved and kicking into the placenta now I'm not sure, but she was ok. My iron is really again so think that's contributing to how I feel too. But all in all glad I went now.
