Sorry to post in here, not sure if this is the right place to ask about this or not.

I started to have light bleeding with stomach pains, dr sent me to hospital where I had an internal scan, was told they couldn’t see a heartbeat but that could be normal, scan, yolk sac and feral pole could be seen, they then said that my baby wasn’t actually attached to to my uterus wall and they literally saw my baby slide down my uterus during the scan, which obviously wasn’t a good sign paired with the bleeding and the pain, was given another appointment to go back 1 week later if I needed it for another scan? If I did need to go back they’d check that I had had a complete miscarriage. How do I know if I need to go back for this scan? 😥

I have been bleeding since (this happened on Tuesday) not heavier than a period and no clots at all.. is this normal? They said to ring up etc if bleeding was abnormal, I’ve never miscarried before so how do I know what’s normal and what’s not?

if anyone knows anything, any advice would be appreciated, thank you ♥️

@Mamaoftwooo I'm so so sorry for your loss, when I had my Mc I kept taking pregnancy tests to see if they were getting lighter when the bleeding stops the pregnancy test will likely be negative meaning your miscarriage has completed, if you continue to get positive tests you will likely need another scan.

Again I'm so so sorry for your loss, ❤️

I had a MMC at 11 weeks but it hadnt progressed past 6+4. It started with a light bleed like spotting, called out of hours and was pregnancy tested which was positive and sent home. Carried on bleeding the next day all day like a period. The following day I went to a+e, was pregnancy tested positive but when I went for an US scan she had to so trans vaginal and that's when I found out it was likely a miscarriage. But because it was 1mm size over the cut off they didn't give me medical management I had to wait a week to check there definitely wasn't a heartbeat or further growth. I carried on bleeding all week, like a heavy period, I can't remember clots until I had the medical management. But I knew by the amount of blood it was a loss.
With the medication I was passing clots, big ones, one was almost fist size. I was quite upset as I felt I was flushing my baby away.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's so hard. I was desperate to get pregnant again. This was in 2019, I now have a 2yo boy and a 9mo girl. Everything crossed for you x
