I have had something similar in one of my pregnancies, slight bleding/spotting after sex was seen at hospital and told it was cervical erosion, due to some of the cells around the cervix becoming softer and more delicate during pregnancy. I would call your midwife if you have one yet or out of hours gp as you are suposed to tell somebody but it is probably nothing to worry about.

our local hospital has an early pregnancy unit where you go when this happens... I went with my 1st DS with a similar problem and they scan you to check what's going on....
You need to get it looked at.

I had a small bleed at week 7 and week 11 with dd2....all was fine but I did go on both occassions to the EPU at my local hospital and got it checked to be on the safe side. I think you should ring them and explain. I am sure they will see you asap.

As the post above has said bleeding after sex is common in pregnancy because of cervical erosion. Try not to panic (easier said than done). Give your midwife or local EPU a ring they will then probably organise a reassurance scan. Will be thinking of you.

I had the same because of an erosion. I got a scan though to check.
