Implantation symptoms then spotting, then AF, symptoms weaker

i joined here because real experience gives better advise than articles that repeat the same generic info.

im 13dpo
frist time ttc
had all the common symptoms cramps, fatigue, slight nausea, thirst, hunger, bloating, trips to wee more often, dizziness for the last week or so

then last evening I started spotting- brown with cm. But by late night the blood was red and accompanied with stringy clots.
today I feel fewer symptoms and largely confused and heart broken.

Has anyone has any similar symptoms that may have led to a bfp??
I have my obgyn appointment day after. Will find out eventually but the days have become soooo much longer since last night.

The really tricky thing about ttc is that the symptoms are so ambiguous. Most of the symptoms of implantation and early pregnancy could also be signs of impending af. It's all down to the fluctuating hormones. I'm currently pregnant for a 3rd time, but I only have one earthside child, and for me, although I had a sense I was pregnant each time, the real symptoms of pregnancy didn't come on until I was around 5 weeks pregnant each time, so well after my period was due.
