Hi,
Im 17 weeks 3 days pregnant and have been using progesterone pessaries twice a day 400mg. With complete baby brain tonight I couldn’t remember if I’d taken it, so I took another one. Now I’m panicking I’ve used too many! Does anyone know if this could be harmful to the pregnancy I’ve tried to look online and can’t find anything- thanks x

Not sure but give your maternity triage a ring and they'll get a midwife to talk to you

No I don't think it'll do any harm. Try not to worry x

Hiya, I have been through this confusion a couple of times too. I am 21+5 weeks at the moment and I have been taking 2X 400 mg progesterone pessaries since 5th week.
One thing I can suggest is, use a marker pen and write the date and time on individual pessery. So that you will know if you missed/ taken extra. For example, I would write 14/10 M for the morning pessery on 14th October. Since I started doing this, never messed up with a dose!

There are no known negative effects of too much progesterone. Let your team know, but don't worry!

I did this once too! As far as I know (from Google) it's fine especially if you don't make a habit out of it!
