Violent spewing, bust blood vessels all over face 😔😩 will this go away?

Hey everyone.

I'm a bit worried so hoping others may have experienced this and be able to reassure me - I've been suffering from pregnancy sickness the last few weeks but lately it had been getting better (I'm nearly 15 weeks).

But today I felt quite sick, worse than I have for a week. Around 4pm I threw up so violently it has burst blood vessels all over my face. My skin is mottled still, nearly 4 hours later. I look like I have red-purple freckles and blotches all over 😩 I'm really scared this is going to be permanent? Tell me it goes away? It was the most intense vomit I've done all pregnancy and didn't help that I obviously didn't have enough water in my stomach and basically only had apple in there so it was horrible consistency too (sorry tmi!).

I still have a small burst blood vessel in one of my eyes from throwing up when pregnant with DD, but that's barely noticeable and this is literally like a mask.😔 I'm assuming/hoping it will heal... Anyone also had this happen?

I get this every time I'm sick, don't worry at all! It will go down over the next few days and disappear completely.

It used to only happen to me with a sick bug, or awful hangover where I was sick repeatedly. But in recent years it's every time I'm sick even if just the once. The worst ever was after being sick only once with covid last year. I have a fear of vomiting and I think I hold it till the very last minute and it's just too intense.

Nothing to worry about. The worst thing for me was never being able to hide a bad hangover from my mum as a teen 🤣
