Is this a evaporation line

Hey ladies!
been trying to get pregnant over 2 years and nothing is happening, doctor says I’m ovulating and partner is all fine so I’m not sure ? Just Wondering if anyone has any help? I took a test yesturday and this was the outcome, looks to me like a evaporation line? I have only took it 8 days after ovulation though, I know it’s probs to early just get impatient every month. Thanks ❤️❤️

Looks like it has colour and it’s thick so I’d say it’s positive.

How long did you leave it before checking? I think you have to look straight away because if you come back to it then random lines appear :/

I agree with OhNo that it looks as though it has some colour ? If so then a positive rather than an evap.

Yh that’s what I thought maybe I should wait a little longer and test again xx I’ve been Googling like crazy but think it’s probs best to be patient xx thankyou

Hey I would say about 5/10 mins so slightly over what the packet says, I did it then made some toast ahha xx so probs about 10 mins

They do look positive as long as you have checked the result within 5 minutes as sometimes line shows a few hours later xx I’ve not had a positive since them 4 I posted that day on this thread , so I think it was negative but I’ve not missed period yet so I’ll test again in a week, I tested way to early periods not due till Friday maybe wait a week if you can!! But fingers crossed it positive xxx

OP, I'm sorry you've been trying so long without success. I'm not sure I can see colour on the original photo, but from your dates you tested really early so there's still time. I really hope you get your BFP soon xx

I remember editng the images to make them black and white and use that scale thing to go blacker or whiter… I saw the line clearer that way xx

@canyoutoleratethis thanks so much yes does dishearten you when people put about being pregnant on your post xx I think it was just a evaporation line because I’m getting period symptoms , never mind hopefully next time x had more blood test and they are still showing up fine so not sure what’s going on xx thanks again

OP I don’t want to get your hopes up but it looks like a bfp and not an evap. These tests for me stayed white as a sheet when it was bfn but at 10dpo I got a colourless shadow, i thought hang on these don’t normally show evaps for me, turned out to be bfp when I confirmed it next day with FRER. Fingers crossed for you xx

@CatOfTheLand @B1993 @magma32 hey yes, I tested again a few times and they all came out negative but I haven’t had a period I’m 5 days late? But when I looked online it says I’m unlikely to be pregnant if I’m texting negative 5 days after a missed period. Not sure what to do now? .xx

@Shakirachante, I'm so surprised and thought for sure that was the start of your positive tests... I'm so sorry 💔💔 Are you just testing with the cheap strips? Since you're now quite a few days late, I'd be tempted to take a Clear Blue or First Response to definitely confirm a negative.

Side note: do you track ovulation? It could have been that you ovulated later and that's pushed back your period. Might also be something you'd want to consider doing in future cycles. I had much success tracking with BBT.

OP, you may have had a chemical pregnancy. That’s where you get pregnant enough to show a bfp but it doesn’t continue, often due to chromosomal reasons with the embryo meaning the body rejects it. It’s very common. Just had one myself.
