ON CLOMID DOC SAYS I HAV NOT OVULATED BUT 2 POSITIVE TESTS!!!

HELLO ALL

THIS IS MY FIRST MONTH ON CLOMID AND I GOT MY BLOODS DONE ON DAY 20 !!!

I THOUGHT THERE WAS NO WAY I COULD BE PREGNANT BUT MY PERIOD WAS LATE SO I DONE A TEST WELL TWO ACTUALLY !!

FIRST WAS CLEAR BLUE AND I GOT A STRONG +

SECOND WAS CLEARBLUE DIGITAL AND CAME UP POSITIVE!!!!!!

I AM SO CONFUSED IS THIS REAL???????

DID THIS EVER HAPPEN ANYONE ?????

The clomid thing has never happened to me but I've done three positive pregnancy tests in my time. They are all playing upstairs atm Congratulations - looks like you're having a baby!

i just feel like how is it possible if i have not ovulated!!!???

i need the doc!!!!!

is there anyway that the drugs you are taking could cause a false positive ?? if not, then congratulations see your GP immediately

me when i read this its like i went back in time they told me the same i had not oveulated that month, but i did a test and now that test is 7 months old (good luck)

I had this too - my failure to ovulate is now 6 years old! If your cycle is a bit up the spout - then unless you have blood tests very day it is very difficult for them to spot when you ovulate - looks like yours had been and gone and started making a baby by day 20!

oh mygod this is great i was thinking maybe the clomid was making me have a positive!!!

when you spoke with the doctor what did they say????

i hope i dont have to wait 12 weeks to find out if i am having more than 1!!!!

its scary!!!

they told me what i just told you you can ovulate at any time, where i ovulted very early as i tested + on day 22 just after my blood test! i had my first scan ay 8 weeks

tracey2 just off the phone to the doc she said that i am pregnant !!!!

she also said what you said that i was tested too soon for ovuation!!!!!

oh cant believe it she sid i was 4 weeks !!!!

Hi there, did your doc do blood tests to confirm your pregnant? How does she know you are? My friend is on the same drugs as you for PCOS and was told that you can get a false positive whilst taking this medication. Im sure that this isnot the case with you tho. Congrats ccc

my clomid taking has resulted in a huge bump, see my profile!! it was my due date on the 24th so i will be meeting him or her any day hopefully!!
Congratulations, enjoy every minute, and keep your tests! i carried mine round in my handbag with me for at least the first 3 months of my pregnancy

oh thankyou all so much!!!!

pussycatmomma i have looked at my tests a hundred times still cant believe it!!!!

KEZZA i phoned my gp and told her situation she said bloods are taken on day21 based on an normal period of28 day cycle!!

my cycle is 32 days and my bloods were taken on day 20 as day 21 was a saturday !!!!

she said it was too early and my body would not have peaked to show ovulation!!!!!

i will go to docs on tuesday and get all sorted but as far as she is conerned it is very real!!!!

The blood tests may have missed your ov point which will be why its not shown. This happened to a friend of mine and she has a daughter the same age as my ds.
