Hey all 40+2 here. Tired and fed up and hurting ribs lol, just wondering what early Labour felt like for you all, had bloody show yesterday and mucus plug came away a few days before that, had 2 sweeps in the last week, today I just feel achy, crampy and fed up lol what signs should I look out for that means Labour is near and any Labour stories would be helpful, yes symptom spotting is the only thing keeping me from folding right now 😅

The day before I went into labour I was getting some back pains, and I had the urge to cook and eat a big meal. I made a roast 😂 was a good plan as I was in labour for ages and didn’t feel like eating much.

I have the worst back pain today but I don't know if it's just normal because I'm over due and everything is starting to hurt lol I just took some paracetamol but can still feel the back pain lol hopefully that is a sign then 😅🤞🏽

My second was born all with no intervention at 41 weeks. The day before I was having short sharp pains every ten minutes. My brain went to mush, so I could not prioritize and make decisions properly. As a result, I was very late picking DC1 up from school, I burnt the tea and I spent ages sweeping the kitchen floor. It was really weird. I am told that I was walking like John Wayne and the people around me knew I was in labour even though I was in denial.
