Implantation pain?

Hi, I have just found out I’m pregnant, approx 4+3 and experiencing constant pain in the lower right side of my pelvis. Sort of a dull ache/sometimes more of a stinging type pain and just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this?
is it likely to be implantation pain?
Worried about ectopic or miscarriage.
Thank you

Could be normal. I had cramp for about 3 weeks with DC1, it was worrying to say the least! I also had a small bleed at 5+4 and went to EPU.
I can’t speak from experience regarding ectopic or miscarriage symptoms, speak to GP if you’re worried, unlikely to refer to EPU this early though.

I’m 32 weeks with my first and I had horrendous pain from week 5 to around about week 11. Like I’m talking agony, I ended up off work constantly attached to a hot water bottle and wondering if it would ever end (it did!)

the pain was mainly lower right side radiating through to my back like a constant severe period cramp.

i called my doctor multiple times crying and panicking that I was miscarrying or ectopic. They reassured me that it was likely to be painful
implantation and said not to worry unless I got bleeding or the pain radiated up into my shoulders or things like that. Was advised to continue using heat and take paracetamol.

it was a miserable few weeks and I had no idea that it could hurt that badly but it passed and the rest of my pregnancy has been normal. I’d advise calling your GP to get advice but unless they say otherwise try not to stress too much as it only makes things worse x

Thanks so much @PurBal and @Emetmum22 for your replies, definitely made me feel happier in relation to the pain.
It isn’t a constant pain which I think is a good sign(?!) There’s no bleeding or anything and the pain isn’t radiating up my shoulder so hopefully everything will settle down soon.
Also really reassuring to know your pain was mostly right side too @Emetmum22 as I don’t have any pain around the middle/left side at all which I thought was strange. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

So glad to be of some help @Rojo1618 !

My pain wasn’t constant either it was on and off like period pain. Fingers crossed it starts to ease off for you before the second trimester! And thank you!
