Worried about breathing in strong fumes

Hey everyone, getting a bit anxious here as we are having some building work done on our house, and I'm worried about breathing in the fumes. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and worried that these chemicals could harm the baby.

The builder is repairing a flat roof, and is using a coating or sealant, the fumes of which are seeping into our house. It's been 24 hours and it still stinks to high heaven, and he's coming back to do another coat today.

There's no room in the house that doesn't smell of it (albeit some rooms are worse than others), even having the windows open doesn't seem to shift it much, and once you shut them the smell just builds again. I work from home, so I have to be in the house. I woke in the middle of the night to find our bedroom stinking of it, so I've been breathing it in all night. 😕
